Christchurch a City and its People is a book that celebrates Christchurch. It comprises of numerous monochrome and a few colour photos that records the early history and settlement of Christchurch and the Canterbury plains.
Photos from around the city from the 1970s recalls an age prior to the 2011 damaging earthquakes. Many buildings photoed are no longer standing. The book is a trip down memory lane.
