This book cover the conflict between Japan and the allies during the Second World War. It covers both navel and land based operations. It briefly looks at the early developments in the 1930’s and the concentrates on the period from December 1941 to August 1945. The advances in Technology both in aircraft and navel power is well researched and illustrated. The book has hundreds of photos, some in colour, and lots of detailed colour drawings of the aircraft involved. It gives analysis of the capabilities of the various aircraft. This book is a must for people interested in this period of history.
