ANOTHER MOVIE MONSTER and MISSION
There are lands that so lend themselves to the imagination that even when you go there, they live up to your dreams. It is as if you are recalling them from somewhere beyond themselves. And later, when you remember them for real, they are more like themselves than ever. These are the lands the daydreamers and artists inhabit. We live in one ourselves, although we often forget it, because they are always Other Places.
These are two books in one volume, one youthful and the other older. They find themselves conversing between these covers like travelers from different countries, sitting side-by-sidein a small bus making its way somewhere over an enormous landscape.
