The story takes place in the autumn of 1939, as war looms over Europe. England teeters on the brink of war. The scene opens in Poland, where Nazi bombers are attacking Warsaw, and Nazi forces are advancing, leaving desperate people trying to flee. It is Book 7 of the “Zion Covenant” series, described as a “director’s cut” that includes never-before-published scenes with characters from earlier books in the series. Main characters Mac McGrath: An American photo-journalist (veteran) who has dedicated himself to documenting the march toward war.
