As Evelyn’s narrative unfolds, it becomes clear that the love of her life was not one of her husbands, but Celia St. James, a fellow actress. Because of the intense homophobia of the era, Evelyn and Celia are forced to keep their relationship secret, enduring years of separation, misunderstandings, and sacrifice.

New Zealand orders of $40 or more receive free shipping. For smaller orders, Christchurch delivery to postcodes beginning with 8 is $5, metro New Zealand delivery is $9, and rural New Zealand delivery is $14.
